TRAFO Center for Contemporary Art in Szczecin is a partner of Monika Mamzeta’s project Itsy-bitsy CANCER… leaves you with a SCAR, organized by Wall Gallery.
The project consists of a competition for a tattoo design that will be created in place of the artist’s removed breast(s).
The winner will be selected by a jury composed of: Hanna Wróblewska – director of Zachęta – National Gallery of Art, Grzegorz Kowalski – artist and lecturer, Artur Żmijewski – artist, Barbara Namysłowska-Gabrysiak – PhD in Social Sciences (legal science), lawyer, friend of the artist, Anna Walewska – curator of the project, and Monika Mamzeta – jury chairwoman.

TRAFO will present the first monographic exhibition of Monika Mamzeta, featuring the project results, in the first quarter of the next year.
