The works of Wiktoria Walendzik are born at the intersection of different worlds, in a haze of the internet informative and visual overflow, somewhere between Saint Tropez and Zalesie Górne near Warsaw. The works, originating from the digital world, but embedded in the analog one, form an immanent landscape and come together in a collage of collective desires and aspirations. Using the art of sculpture – one of the most time-consuming mediums, the artist gives form to what is momentary, short-lived and “instant”. The works inspired by the most beautiful furniture designs, at times bearing characteristic features of self-portrait, encourage interaction and taking selfies. By sharing them back on social media, we are changing the context of the artworks. We become a part of a constantly developing collage.

*Epicurus (341–271 BCE) – Greek philosopher, founder of Epicureanism.
