Jadwiga Sawicka's project Heart of the Country, presented on the façade of TRAFO building, is a part of the exhibition Attention! Border organized by Arsena艂 Gallery in Bia艂ystok and Labirynt Gallery in Lublin.
The flag bearing the inscription Heart of the Country marks the emotional center of Poland. As the center keeps changing, the borders shift. The arbitrariness of the center location and the resulting necessity to move the borders emphasize their conventionality.
