Join us for the concert of Passepartout Duo during their residency at TRAFO.

In 2024, TRAFO will host three art residencies as part of the international project  TEKHNÉ – Be Aware of Sound. Our first guests will be pianist Nicoletta Favari and percussionist Christopher Salvito, working together as Passepartout Duo. In their practice, they investigates the way in which we listen to and connect with sound. Reassessing the tools they use to create their music, the duo is continually developing a specialized and evolving ecosystem of handmade musical instruments that have ranged from analog electronic circuits and conventional percussion, to room-size textile installations and found objects.

At TRAFO, they will collaborate with local community and art students on a site-specific textile installation, created during open workshops held on April 22 and 23, 2024. The artists will stay at TRAFO from April 7 until April 24, 2024.

Two other creative residents will be Jenny Gräf (residency on May 4-25, 2024 and solo show titled “Out of Senses. Come to Your Senses” from May 23 until August 4) and Ruben Rübe (June 3-24).
