ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The slogan “Grown-up design for children. Grown-ups on design for children” has accompanied the festival for five years now. Each year KIDS LOVE DESIGN takes on the idea of design in a new, free and accessible way. Thanks to a thoughtful exhibition arrangement, it creates space for learning, playing and experiencing what design is. It makes the youngest viewers realize every single object around us was once designed. And for the designers – it makes the needs and expectations of their young audience more tangible. This edition continues the message: “design for children means design in the service of children” through more socially oriented activities. The organizer of the festival – The ARTmosphere Foundation – shows how smart design can transform the quality of life of young people. Well-known experts on design have been invited to participate in the festival.

WHAT'S IN STORE?

The 5th edition of the festival KIDS LOVE DESIGN focuses on the 5 human senses. This year significantly more space is devoted to experiencing through play, as opposed to presenting art and design. The highlight of this year’s edition is the exhibition “PROJECT HUMAN _ DESIGN MAKES SENS(5S).” It showcases the aspects of designing as well as the basic characteristics of Polish design that relate to the human senses. The exhibition comprises of material objects, animation, illustration, but most of all – interactive experiences. Each of its elements introduces a fascinating world of sensations. The 5th edition of the festival will be accompanied by workshops devoted to various age groups as well as the social project COMMON ROOM.
