Lumpo is a genderless humanoid creature brought to life as a result of apocalypse and climate change. Lumpo resides in more or less abstract spaces and meets new, unknown life forms. One of them is a small, hairy creature named Ciwo. The exhibition is a story about the search for meaning, purpose and home. Finding yourself in new, unknown conditions.
Jagoda Dukiewicz (born 1995), a graduate of the Art Academy in Szczecin. She creates video art and animation, works in visual space and paints. Her works, inspired by post-internet, camp, queer and kitsch aesthetics, oscillate on the edge of good taste. The artist makes videos, working with unconventional materials. She creates spatial projections that experiment with traditional forms of image presentation.
HEADSHOTS
The series features artists who have not had an opportunity to circulate their works on the Polish art market, “a minus”. As Internet bard Klocuch used to say: „lucky draw join me ring ring ring ring.” We do not follow any competition rules here, we are not guided by cronyism or any thought-out rules for the selection of the exhibited. Cool? Cool. Okay, we will put together a show. To sum up, the headshots series is a one-shot attempt at success or failure.
